Remote Learning Programme at iQuest

April 2010

At iQuest we are permanently interested in keeping in touch with young talented people. For this reason we have implemented a remote learning programme which addresses students who haven’t been accepted for an internship at iQuest, or at Java University, or any other recruitment process, but still show great potential. The purpose of this project is to stay connected to future IT specialists, to help develop their professional skills, and in some cases to offer them a job at iQuest.

‘I see it as a great opportunity, which helped me a lot. I had the chance to work on Java Spring and Hibernate projects, technologies not so well approached at school. I also appreciated Adi’s – remote learning program co-ordinator - interest in helping us with our school projects and in giving us technical advice.’ said Mihai, a former remote learning student, and a current iQuest colleague.

Ionut, another former graduate of the remote learning program here at iQuest said: ‘You get to learn many enigmas of software development from real professionals, and you get a lot of answers during this training. The practical exercises are really similar to actual working tasks, so it’s quite challenging. Also, the schedule was very flexible, allowing me to focus on school and the learning programme at the same time.’

Our doors are always open to talented and ambitious students who want to learn more about Java technologies.
