Care and Give: iQuest people involved in charity actions
December 2008
There are times when people feel the need to share and open their eyes and hearts towards others, to help people in need. One of these moments is Christmas time. At the end of 2008 the people in iQuest got involved in various charity actions, based on their own initiatives and shared by their workmates. It was really touching to see so many of us willing to help bring a smile on someone’s face.
A few projects have been brought to life:
- The ’Maica Domnului’ children’s home: 10 children aged between 2-6 have received gifts and donations.
- The ‘Casa Sperantei’ Hospice: donations have been made to the palliative care services center helping people diagnosed with cancer in terminal phases.
- ‘Christmas Shoeboxes’ for children: more than five hundred shoeboxes have been filled with gifts for children and distributed in Cluj and in the neighbouring villages.
- ‘Sandwiches for children’: cooking books have been purchased so that children got funding for meals in the day care centre.
- ‘Little People’: support activity to improve the lives of children and teenagers suffering from cancer.
- The ‘Familia Regasita’ Association: children from necessitous families have been helped to find their way to integrate into the society.
- Money donations from iQuest and many iQuest employees.
